Hello! I hope you're all doing well. Thank you so much to everyone who has preordered Wasteland Heart so far. I'm dropping in with a quick update that the release date is being pushed back to September 1st for several reasons. Firstly, I've received my structural edits from my Angry Robot editor for my next trad book, Shake Out the Ghosts, which will release in March 2026, so I have to get those back by deadline. 

I also moved back to my hometown/state last month. Even though I grew up in the area and now have friends and family close by, it's been quite a change after living in a much tinier town for 20 years.  I'm still in the process of settling in, reaquainting myself with the area, and dealing with drama at my new workplace 🫠.

Finishing up edits for Wasteland Heart shouldn't take too long, but formatting still needs to be done for both the ebook and paperback, the full paperback cover design, and I'd like to draw new portraits of Sasha and Corvin for the interior. I'm currently dealing with some hand issues from my new job, so I don't know how long I can hold a pencil. So the portraits are a big IF, unfortunately.
