Okay, no more teasing with cryptic graphics and weird websites. I have a book coming out! Wasteland Heart is the first in a new post-apocalyptic series (of how many books? Not sure yet, but at least two!)

If you’ve been following my work for at least awhile, you will likely recognize many of these characters. In 2017, I self-published my first ever book, called Travelers, which ended up being the beginning of a 7 book cozy post-apocalyptic series. Though these books were dear to me and Sasha quite literally saved my life by giving me a reason to get out of bed and write his story during the lowest point of my life, the books were very rough around the edges and had aspects I didn’t have the skill to pull off (yet). I unpublished the entire series, but the characters wouldn’t leave me.

In 2023, I published Yours Celestially, my surrealistic utopian liminal space book about an A.I. guardian angel… and all my old Travelers characters. That book was great fun, and I’m so happy it’s been well-received. (It’s currently a semi-finalist in the SPSFC and a finalist in the Indie Ink Awards!)

But I still wanted to go back to the world of Travelers. Wasteland Heart has the core of the original story and essence of the world, many of the same character arcs, but much better written than I was able to pull off eight years ago. If you’ve read Yours Celestially, think of this as an AU, the yin to Yours Celestially’s yang.
